A ski lift is being constructed. A 55 foot pole sits at the bottom of a hill that slopes up at a 12.1° angle.? - pole lift workout

A chairlift is under construction. A 55-meter pole is at the bottom of a hill sloping up to an angle of 12.1 °. A wire is placed from the top on the hill covered. The cable is a 45-degree angle upward from the Post. Determine the approximate distance from the base of the mast to the point that connects the cable.

I have no idea what I was doing wrong. Help please?

A = 45, B = 87,9, C = 47.1,

sin B / sinc = B / C

b = c [/ sinc sin B] = 55 [1.413] = 77.73 '

a ² + b ² = c ²-2BC cos ² + 55 ² = 77.73 - 2 (77.73) (55) cos45

A = √ [9067-2 (4.251,5) (0.7071)] = √ 3054.53 = 55,268 "
